Aerospace structures and design engineering is the science involved with the study design and manufacture of flight-capable machines, or the techniques of operating an aircraft. The course trains the student to design, construct, analyse, and test commercial or military aircrafts. The aeronautical engineering students are responsible to devise new designs that are cost effective and energy efficient.

The M.Tech Aerospace structures and design engineering course is a 2-year postgraduate course that is divided into 4-semesters. The course is designed in such a way to enhance students with problem-solving ability in the aeronautical science field and provide major insights into design, operations and controls involved in aviation technology.
