LLM Gender Studies (Master of Law in Gender Studies)
The students of LL.M. Gender Studies will be studying the issues related to gender equality, gender development laws, gender-related legal proceedings. The students will be studying a wide area of the curriculum that explores the laws that regulate the genders and sexuality along with the legal and social status of women in the society. The course gives a detailed understanding of the laws that regulate the transgenders, gays, lesbians, sexual orientations and public policy.

The LL.M Gender Studies can land in various community-centric agencies that are sensitive towards genders. They can practice in country’s courts as advocates and work in government agencies such as the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC), State Human Rights Committee (SHRC), The students can work in NGOs related to the Genders. If the students are interested in teaching then they can join as professors in law colleges.
