The course focuses on the application of various healthcare concepts and principles to improve, standardize and uphold the health of people on a global scale. It is an interdisciplinary subject that involves medicine, engineering, information technology, social sciences and management that promote good health, nutrition, stress-free living, early disease detection and health management. Subjects covered include health education, biostatistics, epidemiology, social and behavioral sciences, public policy, ethics, hazardous waste inspection and control, biosecurity, environmental health, disease analysis and health services administration.
