The transplant surgeons perform organ transplants of different organs such as kidneys. livers, hearts, lungs, the pancreas, the intestine (especially the small intestine), and in recent years, faces, tracheal (windpipe) tissue, and penises are also transplanted.
Eligibility
- The students must have to complete their MBBS degree with 50% aggregate from recognised university
- The students must qualify NEET PG Exam to join to MS General Surgeons
- The students can even join a medical Fellowship programme to be an expert in particular organ transplant surgeons like liver transplant surgeon, Kidney transplant surgeon, Heart transplant surgeon etc..
