What is a PGDM Course?

PGDM (One year international) is a 2-years postgraduate course that is divided into 4-semesters. The course is structured in a manner to provide competence and specialisation in terms of skills and knowledge to the students in the field of international business and management. The course imparts the knowledge of international management practices on the students and prepares them to handle the challenges in the real-time scenarios.
The course is carefully structured such that a postgraduate level student will be able to grasp the basic nuances of global business standards, along with the theories and basic principles associated with it. The course gives a detailed information about how the international environments and markets work and how transactions are carried out in the international markets in a professional way. The students of PGDM (One Year International) course are required to complete their 2nd year in international university or international college.
Eligibility for PGDM (One Year International) Course
The students interested to join PGDM (One Year International) course are required to possess the following eligibility criteria.
- The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate (or equivalent) from a recognized University
- Qualification in any of the competitive management entrance examinations CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/SNAP/NMAT/PGCET/KMAT is mandatory
- The students having more than one year of work experience is an added advantage
Admission Procedures
The students can take admission to PGDM (One Year International) by two modes. The first one is merit-based admission and second one is direct admission.
