Philosophy is distinguished from other ways of addressing such problems by its critical generally systematic approach and its reliance on rational argument.

MA Philosophy is a 2-years post graduate degree that is divided into 4-semesters. The course gives the students a comprehensive and thorough study of various philosophical dogmas which helps them to understand and aptly comprehend the world around them.
The course trains the students on critical and systematic approach and its reliance on a reasoned argument to address general problems. The course includes various philosophical principles like that of Marxism, imagination, feminism, symbolisation, etc. The course is closely related to religion, mathematics, natural science, education and politics.

The students who have completed their under-graduation course in any stream from recognised university are eligible to apply for MA Philosophy.
Admission Procedures
The students with relevant qualifications can join the MA Philosophy course by two modes. The first one is Merit based admission and the second one is direct admission.

1. Merit Admission
There are some reputed educational institutes that conduct entrance exams for the MA Philosophy course. This mode is called merit admission mode. 2. Direct Admission
