The AIMS (Association of Indian Management Schools) conducts the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) exam every year for management admissions. What is AIMS?
The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) was founded in 1988 as a registered society. AIMS is a non-profit professional organization which has grown into a powerful network of over 740 top management schools of national and international repute in the country including IIMs, Christ University, ISBR, Xavier Institutes, Welingkar, MDI, S P Jain, ICFAI, IFIM and NMIMS. The AIMS is the sole governing body that conducts the ATMA exam across the country.
What is the ATMA Exam?
The ATMA Exam is conducted by AIMS for management course admissions in different colleges across the country. The interested students are required to clear the ATMA test in order to get admission to management courses across the country.
The ATMA is a single window entrance test that provides admission to the candidates into various management programmes according to the scores secured by the candidates. The candidates will be able to get admission to the business schools and participating institutes according to their ATMA rankings. The ATMA is the national level entrance exam that is conducted both in offline mode and online mode.

The students are required to fill the online form with the correct details and pay the fees online. Once the form is filled and the fees are paid the students are required to take the printout of the form and the fee receipt should be for future reference. The students will receive a unique username and password on their registered email and mobile number and this has to be carefully kept for future reference. The students in order to download admit cards have to login with their unique username and password for downloading the admit card.
Mode of ATMA Exam Pattern
The ATMA exam consists of 2 modes, the online and offline mode. The ATMA exam paper will have 180 multiple choice questions (MCQs), that consists of six major sections and the students are required to choose the correct answer from the 4 alternatives.
