The A.J Shetty Medical College was founded in the 2002 and since then has delved deeper into understanding the best manner in which the young minds can be cultivated in order to make them better citizens and hence make our nation even greater. The college is affiliated to the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS), Bangalore and is itself situated in Mangalore in the state of Karnataka, India. Not only MBBS, but the college also offers MD, MS, M.Ch, DM as well as several paramedical courses.
An aspiring candidate should be familiar with the eligibility criteria for the different courses that are offered by the college. The college's demand that the aspirant has completed the age of 17 years by 31st December of the year of applying. The applicant must have passed 12th grade examination with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology as optional subjects and gained at least 50% marks, combined. The applicant must have also had English as a primary language in his/her previous Institution. Selection of every candidate is based on the NEET examination that is held every year for admission into the MBBS course. For the MD or other courses, the selection is based in performance in the NEET P.G or NEET S.S examination that is held on an yearly basis. For international and NRI students passport and Student Visa is also required for getting admitted into this college along with some other specific documents.
