The admission procedures conducted in the college are like the usual general procedures in every medical college in India. Like every other college, the students first have to sit for an entrance exam after graduating from their 10+2 classes after attaining the eligibility criteria for that particular examination. - The candidate must have passed the 10+2 pre-university examination in Karnataka or any other equivalent examination
- The candidate must be of 17 years of age as of the 31st of December at the year of admission.
- The candidate must have attained qualifying marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in any higher secondary examination conducted under any board.
- Candidate must have at least an aggregate of 50% in the Science subjects and English.
Apart from the above-mentioned criteria, admission can also be achieved on the basis of a management quota present in the college. There is also a management quota which is reserved for the NRI students.
