Almost every college today has the provision of a stipend for the students under post graduation courses. All MBBS graduates know that colleges nowadays have the provision of a stipend, also known as a fixed amount of money that students get during the course of their PG for internships, services, etc. No differentiation is made between the students under this policy. Almost all Colleges today make sure that every postgraduate student gets his or her stipend regularly and accurately.
The following colleges are those which have or are at least supposed to have a provision of stipend for their MD students during each year of their course. You must go through the details of each college before making your decision. The stipend may vary with the type of college it is, that is Government or Private.
In this year that is in 2019 the Government of Karnataka has increased the stipend for PG medical courses. As the fees of the private colleges for the session 2019-2020 has been hiked by 15 percent and that for government colleges by 5 percent, the Government acted on a hike in Stipend for the PG medical students by 15 percent which ranges from INR 5,000 to INR 10,000. The colleges hiked the fees to meet the requirements of fund of the colleges that are state-run. Continuous complaints were being received regarding that the rough financial crisis which was bothering the employees and students at the institutions. This caused the Government to increase the stipend provided to the students. Accordingly, the current stipend for PG medical students stands as follows-
