Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute

Jubilee Mission Hospital was established originally in 1951 in the old St. Mary's Thope Minor Seminary building and has offered great service to the people over the years. The hospital, run by the Jubilee Mission Trust provides free healthcare services to nearby villages and the orphanages and old age homes of Thrissur. It was recognised as a teaching hospital by the MCI in 2003. Now, JMMCRI has five institutes-

Amala Institute of Medical Sciences

AIMS was started as a cancer hospital in 1978. Today, it is a recognised teaching hospital by the MCI and houses hospital and colleges that offer education and healthcare services in various fields including general medicine, cancer research, Ayurveda, homeopathy and many more. The campus includes the hospital, colleges and hostels and is situated amidst greenery. The compound offers sports grounds, auditorium, gyms etc for co-curricular development of the students.
