announcement What is MAT Exam?

MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test. It is an aptitude test for MBA admission in over 600 Indian business schools and is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) since 1998. The Ministry of Human Resource Department approved MAT in 2003.

MAT is an online/offline test either in English or Hindi. Any graduate can apply for the test conducted four times a year- February, May, September and December, and the score is valid for one year.

Other information The candidate can take both online and offline tests by paying an extra fee of Rs. 1100 and have the benefit of selecting two additional management institutions (total 7 instead of 5).

In MAT a total of 200 questions are to be answered in 150 minutes with 40 each in:

  • Mathematical skills, data analysis & sufficiency
  • Intelligence & critical reasoning
  • Indian & global environment.
