The course teaches the students with various treatments which include dental materials, surgical procedures, oral pathology, oral histology, community dentistry and dental anatomy.

How to get into a college?

The students who all pass the 12th board are now seen to be more interested in pursuing the BDS course than any other course. This is due to the good opportunities that this course provides to the students. There are many students who all want to get into a dental college for pursuing dental courses but the main issue comes up when it is seen that the colleges who all offer dental courses have got limited seats to offer for the students. Due to this reason, it is seen that there is a huge competition between the students who all want to get admission in the top colleges for BDS course.

To tackle this problem among the students and the seats, colleges have set some eligibility criteria for the students.

Here are the eligibility criteria for the students in order to get admission to the top BDS colleges.

  1. The student needs to pass the 12th board exams.
  2. The student needs to show the 12th board passing certificate from an affiliated school or college.

After the results are out, the college authorities then publish the names of the students who all can take admission in the college. The list that is published by them is totally based on marks. So, if you want to take admission in the college even with the help of management quota for pursuing BDS course, you need to score good marks in both 12th boards as well as in BDS entrance exams.
