Admission Process

For the students seeking admission for BDS Programme the criteria is as follows -

  • Passed 12th examination with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, English also to be passed.
  • Age of the candidate should be 17 yrs as on 31st December of the admission year.
  • It is mandatory for a student to qualify NEET UG exam.

For the students seeking admission for MDS Programme the criteria is as follows -

  • Completed BDS from a University recoginzed by DCI
  • It is mandatory for a student to qualify NEET MDS exam.

As the college is Affliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS) or Private University, The admission process are conducted through Karnatak Examination Authority (KEA) Counselling.
The students who intend to join for the merit seats under government(Karnataka domicile holder), Private, NRI or Other Quota Seats are alloted completely through KEA counselling. Students have to complete the counselling procedures to join the BDS, MDS programmes to their desired colleges.

Students looking for All India 15% Quota seats can apply for Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) Counselling can undergo MCC procedures to join the BDS, MDS programmes to their desired colleges.

BDS:-

It is mandatory for a student to qualify NEET UG exam and have to enroll themself to KEA once the applications are open.
It is compulsory for a students to undergo all the procedure in KEA counselling process till the end to avail their seats according to the the ranking of the student in NEET UG in the preferred quota if eligible.
Process involved in KEA Counselling 

  • 1st Round Counseling, 2nd Round Counselling, Mop Up Round (1 or 2 according to the vacent seats), these process involves
  1. Online Registration
  2. Verification of Documents 
  3. Choice Entry 
  4. Mock Allotment 
  5. Allotment 

Documents required for Document varification process are:-
Open to all UG NEET qualified candidates except NRI / PIO / OCI and Foreign National. Original documents to be produced

  1. The final print out of the Online Registration Form.
  2. Original Copy of the Challan for having paid the fees.
  3. UG NEET Admission Ticket and UG NEET Score Card
  4. Any valid Identity Card (Driving License / Voter ID / Passport / PAN / Aadhar Card)
  5. SSLC / 10th Standard Marks Card
  6. 2nd PUC / 12th Standard Marks Card
  7. 2nd PUC /12th standard Study Certificate issued by concerned college with seal signature of Principal
  8. Two recent passport size photographs.
  9. Applying as any minority, documents produced on it.

  1. KEA ‘PGET-2020’ Registration form duly filled (print out). 
  2. Photo identity and address proof document (PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Passport / Aadhaar Card / Ration Card) 
  3. NEET PG 2020’ Admit Card & score card issued by NBE for Medical & Dental courses.
  4. SSLC or 10th Standard / equivalent marks card (For date of birth).
  5. 2nd PUC or 12th standard Marks Card.
  6. MBBS / BDS marks card issued by Universities of all phases/years.
  7. Qualifying degree certificate.
  8. Provisional Degree Certificate - only to those who have passed MBBS / BDS during 2019.
  9. Certificate of internship completion in (Annexure 5) for candidates who have already completed internship. (Provisional internship completion certificate will be accepted for Candidates completing their internship by 31st March 2020, only for 1st round of counseling in Annexure 6).
  10. Certificate from the head of institute certifying that the Medical / Dental College from which the candidate has passed MBBS/BDS examination is recognized by MCI/DCI.
  11. State / Central Medical / Dental Council Registration Certificate. [Provisional registration certificate will be accepted only for the candidates who have passed MBBS / BDS during 2019. Permanent State / Central Medical / Dental Council Registration Certificate to be compulsorily submitted at the time of admission process. (Candidates who have passed prior to 2019, should compulsory possess the Original Permanent Registration certificate and upload the same)]
