Colleges Under RG University For BSc Nursing In Bangalore

There are some colleges in Bangalore that fall among the top colleges that provide a degree or diploma of a Bachelor in Science in Nursing. A degree in Bachelor in Science or BSc is provided by the Indian Nursing Council or the INC. The Indian Nursing Council is an autonomous body under the government of India and all the colleges under the INC follow the syllabus provided by the INC. All the students, before deciding which college he or she must apply it, he or she must make sure of the eligibility criteria of every college. Let us now take a look at the eligibility criteria for the nursing colleges affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore.

  1. 1.MS Ramaiah- Pass in the PUC/ PDC (10+2) or must pass in any other equivalent examination conducted by councils or boards or intermediate educations established by the state government or central government with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects. The student must pass in all of the subjects mentioned above individually and must have obtained at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and English has taken together in the qualifying examination. The candidates should produce an eligibility certificate from the RGUHS, Bangalore. Finally, the student must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission. 

  2. Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences- Eligibility criteria for KIMS includes the following- The candidates should have passed the two years P.U.C examination conducted by the P.U Education Board, Karnataka State, with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects; or any other examination recognized as equivalent to it by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. OR The candidates should have passed the B.Sc examination of Bangalore University, or any other statutory University provided he/she has passed the B.Sc examination with not less than three of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.

  3. BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences- The candidates should have passed the two years P.U.C examination conducted by the P.U Education Board, Karnataka State, with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects; or any other examination recognised as equivalent to it by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. OR The candidates should have passed the B.Sc examination of Bangalore University, or any other statutory University provided he/she has passed the B.Sc examination with not less than three of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.

  4. B. R. Ambedkar Medical College- candidates must have appeared for the entrance examination and have passed the 10+2 level. Reservation criteria are by the regulations of the Government of India.
