announcement What is CMAT Exam?

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination for entry into MBA programmes across colleges/universities in India. Till 2018, CMAT was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The Test will be conducted by the specialist autonomous body NTA (National Testing Agency) from 2019 onwards. Candidates have to log on to the NTA website www.ntacmat.nic.in to apply for the test.

The CMAT is a three hour computer based online test (CBT) to evaluate the candidate's ability in various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. To be held on January 28, 2019, CMAT is a single session test with negative marks for incorrect answers.

The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions, University Departments and Affiliated Colleges in India. All Indian citizens with graduation (10+2+3) can apply for the test. Final year students whose result will be declared before the commencement of admission can also apply.
