Some of the tips that the students should follow before selecting the colleges or university are:

    • Check for Accreditations and Recognitions of the educational institutes - The students should initially check for the mandatory accreditations, affiliations and recognitions of the colleges. The Nursing colleges in Karnataka should be approved by the Government of Karnataka and recognized by the Karnataka Nursing Council. The students should be aware that many colleges are not giving accurate information on their websites. Additional recognitions include NAAC accreditation for reputed colleges. The students should cross verify the same from various sources both online and offline.

    • Check for the Reputation of the educational institutes - The students should check the reputation and public reviews of the Nursing college. The recognition, awards, infrastructure, facilities, current student and graduated student’s reviews, and national reputation of the college should be checked and verified.

    • Check for Placement Statistics of previous years - The colleges are usually associated with a medical hospital. Placements are provided in these hospitals. It is important to check if these hospitals are certified and accredited for hygiene and quality.

    • Patient Flow of the Hospital - The colleges are usually associated with a medical hospital. The students should choose colleges with increased number of patients or high Patient Flow. This reveals the efficiency and reliability of the hospital.

    • Previous year’s passing percentage - The students should look for the passing percentage of the previous years of the colleges and universities genuinely from the multiple sources available at both offline and online modes. The students should not blindly trust the information provided on the websites. This is because there are few colleges in Bangalore that provide wrong information about their previous years passing percentages. The students should be aware of such high-level marketing techniques.

    • Prepare a list of colleges and universities - The students should prepare the list of the Indian Nursing Council or Karnataka State Nursing Council- approved colleges and universities that offer courses according to their budget. The students are advised to contact the counsellors and educational experts at Galaxy Educational Services with the list of the colleges and universities. • How can I get to know the actual ranking and rating of Nursing colleges in Bangalore?

There are many online websites that give ratings and rankings of nursing colleges and universities in Bangalore. The fact is that students cannot blindly trust the website ranking and reviews available online. For genuine ranking and reviews, students must go through the government authorized website of the nursing colleges and universities.

The shocking thing is that many educational institutes in Bangalore are influencing these online web portals by paying them additional amounts to give them high ratings and reviews, and also making them provide fake reviews and higher ratings. The students should not believe these ratings and reviews of third party websites through paid promotional and marketing activities for the colleges. So, students should be aware that some of the information that is given by these websites are irrelevant and inaccurate.

Students should always refer to the government registered body’s websites for actual rankings and ratings of the colleges. It is important to check if the college is registered with INC. The top educational institutions in India are NAAC accredited. These are important criteria to be verified.

Galaxy Educational Services is an ISO 9001 2008 certified government registered educational centre with 16 years of experience in the education sector. The rankings and ratings provided by them is actual and transparent as the information given by them is based on the direct research conducted by academic experts.
